The price of flight to Chicago
If you’re even thinking about attending NPE 2006, a good start is to get to Chicago. We’re keeping tabs on airfares for you. This list shows the cost (U.S. dollars) of a round-trip ticket from several major cities to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, as of the beginning of April (don’t forget that you can fly into Midway Airport as well). Best Chicago business dining
Looking for the perfect place to dine and do business? The online city guide Citysearch (www.citysearch.com) has listed the Top Ten business dining places in Chicago. Coming in at number one is Keefer's on 20 W. Kinzie St. The scene is described as “corporate chic.” Not your style? If you want to pay homage to “da Bears,” you can go to Mike Ditka's Restaurant (100 E. Chestnut St.), number seven on the list. The menu includes classic fare: steak, chops, and seafood.

European exhibitors have great expectations
Many processing equipment makers from Europe see the upcoming NPE show in June as 'the' platform to show their latest technologies to visitors from NAFTA countries. Merdan Sariboga, managing director of auxiliary equipment maker Optical Control Systems (Witten, Germany), says there are various reasons why his company decided to be an exhibitor at North America's key plastics show.

NPE offers international plastics-processing flavor
As of March 31, NPE 2006 (June 19-23; Chicago, IL) was well on track to maintain the leaps it has made in terms of international representation, with exhibitors based in 34 countries outside the U.S. having already signed on.
